Colorado assistant Patrick Hill expected to leave Deion Sanders' staff for NFL job with Minnesota Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings are expected to hire Colorado defensive tackles coach Patrick Hill as an assistant defensive line coach, sources tell On3.
Before being hired by Deion Sanders at Colorado, Hill was an analyst at LSU last season.
Prior to LSU, Hill was the defensive line coach at Division III Birmingham Southern in 2021. He had originally been set to leave Birmingham Southern for the defensive line coach job at Nicholls State but instead took the analyst position at LSU, where he worked under Tigers defensive line coach Jamar Cain and helped the Tigers improve from 10th in the SEC in scoring defense last year to fifth this season.
Now, in less than a two month span, he’s been hired by Sanders at Colorado and now for an NFL job by the Vikings.
