Five-Star Plus+ guard Isiah Harwell signs NIL deal with Klutch Athletics by New Balance brand
Five-Star Plus+ shooting guard Isiah Harwell – the No. 5 player in the 2025 class – signed an NIL deal with Klutch Athletics by New Balance.
The terms of the deal were not made available, but Harwell has an On3 NIL Valuation of $418,000 – a number that ranks No. 13 in high school basketball. Harwell has roughly 15,400 followers on social media, but those numbers are steadily climbing as he builds his brand. Plus, as one of the nation’s elite prospects, his Roster Value will only increase as he nears a college decision.
Klutch Athletics by New Balance is a sportswear brand founded by Rich Paul and is available at select New Balance retail locations throughout the country. The Klutch Sports Group was founded by Paul and NBA superstar LeBron James. Harwell signed with the Klutch Sports Group for NIL representation last September. But this is Harwell’s first known NIL deal.
“I was born to Be Klutch,” Harwell said in a social media post announcing the deal.
Harwell joins NFL athletes Will Anderson Jr. and Chase Young and high school basketball standouts Aaliyah Crump and Caleb Wilson on the Klutch Athletics by New Balance roster. Crump signed with Klutch Athletics in December, while Wilson announced his partnership on July 15.

Who is Isiah Harwell considering?
Isiah Harwell, a 6-foot-5, 190-pound shooting guard from Mt. Pleasant (Utah) Wasatch Academy, told On3’s Jamie Shaw earlier this month his top four schools were Gonzaga, Houston, Cal and Texas.
After visiting Gonzaga and Cal, Harwell visits Houston on Aug. 22-25 and Texas on Aug. 30-Sept. 1.
“At the end of the day, it’s really just a feeling you know,” Harwell told Shaw. “You can’t be forced to pick a spot. I’m going to trust in God with this decision and we are just going to roll with it. All the coaches recruiting me love my versatility, and we looked at how they plan and their plan for me. They all think I am a great fit with how I pass the ball, can score it and play defense.”
The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine lists Houston with a 29.1% of landing Harwell, followed by Gonzaga at 19.3%. Earlier this month, Shaw called his shot, predicting Houston would land Harwell with a 55% confidence level. However, he noted that Texas is very much a factor in Harwell’s recruitment.
