Florida 4-star QB commit Jaden Rashada included in initial release of Prospex
Pittsburg (Calif.) four-star quarterback Jaden Rashada is one of the prospects signed up to have a trading card through Prospex. Rashada has been committed to Florida since Nov. 10.
Prospex’s NIL platform connects fans and players through the digital sale of a playing card. Players will name up to 10 possible programs, and fans will be able to buy a card of a player and that team.
When a player makes a decision and enrolls at their chosen school, fans will receive either a physical or web3 collectable version of the card. Players receive 85% of the sales revenues from the cards sold to fans of the program they decided to enroll in and attend.
For fans who invested in cards of teams that a player does not choose in their recruiting process, they can turn in that card and will receive 90% of their money back.

“The thing that is most exciting for us is what our vision is, which is empowering athletes and fans to own the NIL space in a way that that serves a real need,” Prospex co-founder Patricia Eiting said. “The idea is that it’s this fun and engaging platform that helps athletes determine which schools are really going to step up and support them.”
Rashada has put up four trading cards: Florida, Miami, Ole Miss and Oregon. He was previously pledged to the Hurricanes before flipping to the Gators.
A 6-foot-3.5, 185-pound signal-caller, Rashada is the No. 62 overall prospect and No. 7 quarterback in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 6 player in California.
Jaden Rashada On3 Scouting Summary
The following is the On3 Scouting Summary for Jaden Rashada:
“Thinner-framed passer with impressive arm talent that keeps his cool when facing pressure. Has the arm strength to drive the ball downfield and into tight windows. Possesses the functional movement skills to escape the pass rush. Three-level passer who has the ability to layer the football. Productive player last season throwing for 2,220 yards and 27 touchdowns to 5 interceptions. Can be inconsistent with his ball placement, but showed flashes of improvement in camp and 7-on-7 settings this spring.
“Should develop quicker processing with more reps in the same offense after playing in three different systems. Played his freshman season at Liberty HS before transferring to IMG Academy for his sophomore season. Transferred back to California and played his junior season at Pittsburg HS. On the older end of the spectrum for quarterbacks in his class. Has the physical tools and arm talent to become the face of an elite-level power five program.”
