Florida expected to name Russ Callaway as new tight ends coach
Florida is expected to name Russ Callaway as its new tight ends coach, sources tell On3.
Callaway, a former offensive coordinator at Samford, had been an analyst at Florida since last year after stops with the New York Giants and LSU.
Callaway was an offensive assistant with the Giants in 2021 and a senior offensive assistant at LSU in 2020. Callaway, the son of former UAB head coach and ex-Alabama and Georgia offensive coordinator Neil Callaway, worked at Samford from 2015-19, including as the team’s offensive coordinator the last three seasons.
