Jeremiah Smith

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – While the top 20 quarterbacks in the nation compete at the Elite 11 Finals across town, some of the top receivers in the 2024 class begin OT7 Finals competition on Thursday night.

Jeremiah Smith is the nation’s No. 2 prospect. And while he is an Ohio State commit, he is still taking visits with three more officials planned. Mylan Graham could be the biggest secret coming out of the Midwest in this cycle, even though he’s the 15th-ranked prospect in the nation.

The event could also be a national coming-out party for 2025 four-star quarterback George MacIntyre, who is competing with South Florida Express.

On3 is breaking down some of the highest On3 NIL Valuations.

Overtime OT7 Finals: Day 1 Live Updates

On3 Industry Ranking
: No. 2
Status: Ohio State commit

The top-ranked receiver in the 2024 recruiting class has had a busy June. The Ohio State commit has not fully shut down his recruitment. Jeremiah Smith’s father told On3 earlier this week he has three official visits locked in for the rest of the month. He’s making the trip to Florida State (June 20), Miami (June 22) and Penn State (June 23). The cousin of NFL quarterback Geno Smith, Jeremiah Smith was at the Elite 11 Finals on Wednesday night catching passes from a variety of highly-touted quarterbacks. He was easily one of the top receivers in attendance, making routes look easy with a 6-foot-3, 198-pound frame.

KJ Bolden

On3 Industry Ranking
: No. 5
Status: Georgia 61.8%, Clemson 8.7%, Alabama 6.9%, Ohio State 5.3%

KJ Bolden can tell when a school is trying to bluff. The Five-Star Plus+ defensive back has no problem talking NIL with schools. With so many recruits and current college football players earning dollars from collectives, he would prefer coaches to just be honest. Schools have thrown all kinds of financial packages at the fifth-ranked prospect in the country. Most NIL offers have dropped down to six figures in recruiting. The right five-star prospect could command a million-dollar agreement, yet spread out over three to four years.

“If a school is telling you that you’re going to get millions or in the millions range, that’s quarterback money,” Bolden said at the On3 NIL Elite Series presented by Mizuno. “Receivers and safeties, we’re like in the $700K, $600K-ish range. Schools always tell me in those ranges there. I had a school tell me, ‘We’re going to get you $2 million during the first year.’

Mike Matthews

On3 Industry Ranking
: No. 12
Status: Tennessee 78%, Clemson 8%

Mike Matthews may be at OT7 this weekend, but his biggest trip this month will be his official visit to Tennessee next weekend. The five-star receiver will be on campus at USC this weekend, and he has visited Clemson and Georgia over the past few weeks. A basketball talent, too, he caught 48 passes for 1,031 yards and 10 touchdowns this past fall.

George MacIntyre

On3 NIL Valuation: $326K

On3 Industry Ranking
: No. 12
Status: Tennessee 21%, Vanderbilt 12%

With some of the top passers in the 2024 class, George MacIntyre is the arm to watch at the OT7 Finals. A four-star recruit in the 2025 class, he will be throwing to plenty of talent with South Florida Express. The 6-foot-5.5, 185-pounder was back at Tennessee last weekend. A Brentwood Academy (Tenn.) product, the Volunteers appear to be the leader in the clubhouse at this point.

Mylan Graham

On3 NIL Valuation: $308K

On3 Industry Ranking
: No. 15
Status: Ohio State commit

Since he committed to Ohio State in early April, Mylan Graham has seen his On3 NIL Valuation continue to grow. He’s a star prospect going to one of the best NIL situations in college sports, too. Graham has racked up 1,496 yards and 15 touchdowns in three seasons playing high school football. He will be playing at OT7 next to fellow commit Jeremiah Smith and high school teammate Joshisa Trader on a loaded South Florida Express roster.

About the On3 NIL Valuation

The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college athletes. A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation calculates an athlete’s NIL value using dynamic data points targeting three primary categories: performance, influence and exposure.

About On3 NIL Valuation, Brand Value, Roster Value

While the algorithm includes deal data, it does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals athletes have completed to date, nor does it set an athlete’s NIL valuation for their entire career. The On3 NIL Valuation calculates the optimized NIL opportunity for athletes relative to the overall NIL market and projects out to as long as 12 months into the future.

The On3 NIL Valuation accounts for an athlete’s roster value and brand value. Roster value is the value an athlete has by being a member of his or her team at his or her school, which factors into the role of NIL collectives. Brand value factors in an athlete’s personal brand and the value it could bring to regional and national brands outside of the scope of NIL collectives.

The On3 NIL Valuation is publicly available. Performance, Influence, and Exposure ratings along with the athlete’s personal Brand Value Index and Roster Value Index are available only to the athlete in the “Athlete Verified” private dashboard on the On3 Athlete Network.
