How to watch: DirecTV, Disney dispute extends to Week 3 of college football
Editor’s Note: DirecTV and Disney reached an agreement Saturday morning ahead of Week 3 of college football. More details here.
DirecTV subscribers have not had access to college football on Disney channels since Sept. 1 when the dispute started.
The dispute is nearly two weeks old and has stretched into Week 3 of college football, leaving fans looking for other options. With nearly 11 million customers, DirecTV subscribers are left without access to ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNews, SEC Network, ACC Network and ABC.

DirecTV filed a complaint against Disney to the Federal Communications Commission last Saturday, accusing the company of negotiating in bad faith.
“DirecTV and Disney have found themselves in an impasse for a week now,” the complaint read according to USA TODAY. “Millions of Americans have already missed early college football games, may well miss the first Monday Night Football game.”
Disney’s channels went dark on Sunday before USC and LSU’s top-25, Week 1 matchup in Las Vegas. DirecTV’s dispute left customers without Monday Night Football and the presidential debate this week. Both those dates had been circled as possible deadlines. A timetable for an agreement is unknown.
DirecTV told the New York Times this week that it had made “considerable progress” in its negotiations with Disney on issues including market rates and “the ability to offer smaller, more flexible packages.”
College Football games impacted by dispute
Nineteen college football games will be impacted by the ongoing DirecTV and Disney dispute. The problems for DirecTV subscribers do not stop there, however, as College GameDay kicks off at 9 a.m. ET on ESPN live from Columbia, South Carolina.
