Indiana, Campus Ink launch NIL partnership
The Indiana Hoosiers and Campus Ink have launched a new NIL partnership. Both the school and Campus Ink say the deal will provide access to NIL opportunities for every student-athlete at the university.
“We are proud to work with Indiana University to provide a NIL merchandising solution for their student-athletes,” said Steven Farag, CEO and co-founder of Campus Ink. “Indiana’s vision of a NIL merchandising solution for all athletes, not just some, aligns directly with Campus Ink’s mission in the NIL space.”
The deal allows every student-athlete at Indiana to create personalized apparel that uses Indiana logos. Campus Ink will produce the apparel, which is going to be sold through campus stores and the NIL Store. The NIL Store is an online store that Campus Ink operates.
“The NIL Store embodies the best of what new opportunities are available for schools and student-athletes,” said Farag.
“It is a way for student-athletes in any sport to monetize their NIL while simultaneously elevating the university brand through co-licensed jerseys and apparel. This is exciting for everyone involved, including fans as it boosts the entire collegiate athletics experience.”

Additionally, apparel should be available in the NIL Store and on-campus by the fall of 2022.
About Campus Ink
Campus Ink was established in 1947 at the University of Illinois. They use student designers to produce collegiate apparel for schools around the country.
In 2021, Campus Ink used new NIL rules to begin working directly with student-athletes through partnerships with schools. They also created the NIL Store, through which student-athletes can sell university branded apparel.
Mark Cuban, famous for owning the Dallas Mavericks and appearing on the TV show Shark Tank, is an investor in Campus Ink. He’s also an Indiana alumnus. However, he needs to be careful in how he supports the university. Furthermore, personally giving out NIL deals would violate NBA rules, as a form of collusion.
“I’m really excited that the leading NIL company, Campus Ink, and the best university on the planet, my alma mater, Indiana University, are working together,” said Mark Cuban in an Indiana press release. “The sky is the limit!”
