Bose made sure to capitalize on Rivalry Week.

The audio equipment company signed Tennessee wide receiver Jalin Hyatt and Vanderbilt quarterback Mike Wright to NIL deals ahead of Saturday night’s game. The two athletes teamed up to film a social media advertisement for Bose, promoting the brand’s QuietComfort Earbuds II and QuietComfort 45 headphones.

Hyatt and Wright are just the latest college athletes to be scooped up by the brand. Bose signed five college football players before the College Football Playoff a year ago. Headed into March Madness, Aliyah Boston, Chet Holmgren and Wendell Moore each inked endorsement deals. And UConn star Paige Bueckers came to terms on a deal this fall.

In the video, the Hyatt and Wright hop on a FaceTime call and quickly transition to playing Fortnite. From there, they each throw on a pair of headphones and talk smack as they play the video game.

“You can run from me on Saturday, but you can’t run from me right now, man,” Wright says.

“If you throw it to me, I’ll do the rest for you,” Hyatt later adds.

On Saturday night, Tennessee ultimately pulled out a 56-0 blowout win in Nashville. Hyatt finished the game with three catches for 86 yards. Wright saw playing time, completing 7 of 13 passes for 28 yards. He also added 50 yards on the ground over eight carries.

Jalin Hyatt’s rising NIL value

Hyatt’s NIL value to brands has skyrocketed following his breakout performance against Alabama. The junior tallied six catches for 207 yards and five touchdowns, becoming the first player since DeVonta Smith in 2019 to have 200 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns in a game.

Following the game, he signed with The Volunteer Club, which is run through Spyre Sports Group. Through the agreement, the receiver earned all the new memberships he drove to the collective in the first month. In exchange, the Hyatt sent fans a free, signed picture of himself.

He’s also promoted Keller Williams Sports and Entertainment group on his social media channels and has a T-shirt deal with Breaking T.

The receiver’s social media following has taken off, too. He currently has 100,000 Instagram followers. Entering the game against the Tide, he had roughly 15,700.

His On3 NIL Valuation has continued to jump, too. Hyatt’s evaluation now sits at $810,000 — a 229% growth over the last 10 week. And he sits at No. 38 in the NIL 100, which is the first of its kind and defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by their On3 NIL Valuation. He also ranks 21st among college football players.

Mike Wright has an On3 NIL Valuation of $42,000.

The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college athletes. A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation calculates an athlete’s NIL value using dynamic data points targeting three primary categories: performance, influence and exposure.

While the algorithm includes deal data, it does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals athletes have completed to date, nor does it set an athlete’s NIL valuation for their entire career.

The On3 NIL Valuation calculates the optimized NIL opportunity for athletes relative to the overall NIL market and projects out to as long as 12 months into the future.
