LSU commit Jaxon Howard signs Team IFA for NIL representation
Jaxon Howard is making sure he is able to cash in on his NIL potential.
The recent LSU commit has signed Team IFA for NIL representation, he announced Tuesday on Twitter. A four-star defensive end, the decision to sign IFA as his agent is not a surprise. Howard is from Minneapolis, Minn., which is where Team IFA is based.
“With the guidance of the hometown agency, I look forward to developing and growing my personal brand, as well as leaving a mark on my community,” he wrote on Twitter. “I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together.”
He joins a list of high school football recruits to sign NIL representation. And he can get started early in building his brand. The MSHL amended its regulations in June, allowing athletes to profit off their NIL. Activities must not interfere with an athlete’s academic obligations.
Team IFA is a full-service agency specializing in player representation, brand marketing and consulting at the NFL level.
Howard chose the Bayou Bengals over Miami, Michigan and his hometown school, Minnesota. As a junior last year, he finished with 13 receptions for 172 yards and three touchdowns on offense. On defense, he recorded 50 tackles, eight of which went for a loss, and six sacks.
He also comes from a football family. His father is Willie Howard, former defensive end at Stanford, who won the Morris Trophy, which is given to the top defensive lineman in the Pac-12 Conference. He was picked in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft, playing two seasons for the Vikings before a career-ending injury.

Howard ranks as the No. 110 overall prospect in the country, No. 18 EDGE and top-ranked prospect out of Minnesota. The Robbinsdale Cooper product is the third EDGE rusher to commit to LSU in the 2023 cycle. He joins four-stars Dashawn Womack and Joshua Mickens in Jamar Cain’s defensive line room.
Jaxon Howard’s growing On3 NIL Valuation
Over the past 14 weeks, Jaxon Howard has seen an uptick in his On3 NIL Valuation of 12%, which brings his evaluation to $137k. That ranks in the top 125 of the NIL high school football rankings.
He also has 11,700 social media followers between Instagram and Twitter. He holds a social media per post value of $223. Howard has yet to execute a NIL deal.
The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The On3 NIL Valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
