Jalon Daniels continues to crush it both on and off the field.

The star Kansas quarterback has guided the Jayhawks to a 3-0 start for the second straight season – something that’s not been done since the 1991 and 1992 seasons. KU hosts undefeated BYU on Saturday at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium in Lawrence in one of the league’s early-season marquee matchups. Daniels, who was the preseason pick for Big 12 offensive player of the year, has a 169-passer rating and is averaging 10.2 yards per attempt.

While Daniels has started off hot this season, he’s just as hot with NIL endorsements. Daniels, who has an On3 NIL Valuation of $270,000, announced a new NIL deal on Tuesday with Minsky’s. The pizza chain is known for its “gourmet” pies and Daniels partnered with the Kansas City company to create the JD Sixer. The deal was facilitated by the Team IFA agency.

The JD Sixer features BBQ sauce, chicken, mozzarella cheese, cupping pepperoni and bacon. It is available at all of Minsky’s locations. Daniels is shown creating the pizza in a commercial released on his social media handles and shared by Minsky’s.

It ends perfectly with a chef’s kiss.

Jalon Daniels has impressive NIL brand

Jalon Daniels is a central reason for KU’s renaissance on the field. He was a second-team All-Big 12 pick after a 2022 season that capped off with a 544-yard and six-touchdown performance in the Liberty Bowl.

He’s also had a lot of success through NIL. In fact, the Minsky’s deal is the second significant partnership he’s announced in the past two weeks. Last week, he revealed a new NIL deal with Meritrust Credit Union, which has locations throughout the Sunflower State.

Jalon Daniels was also featured on JD Motorsports driver Brennan Poole’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race car through a unique agreement with BeOneSports. That NIL deal was facilitated by Mass St. Collective. He’s also appeared in NIL deals with Wendy’s, Applebee’s, Pepsi and other Lawrence area businesses.

Daniel’s On3 NIL Valuation has remained somewhat steady over the past 10 weeks, but it did reach $350,000 earlier in the season. His valuation of $270,000 ranks in the top 200 of college football.
