Kendal Daniels, Drake Stoops star in season-long NIL deal with Schwab Meat
Kendal Daniels and Drake Stoops will meet on the football field for Bedlam in eight days.
But this past summer, the Oklahoma State safety and Oklahoma wide receiver met up to film a commercial for Schwab Meat. A partner of Cowboys and Sooners athletics, the 100-year-old company is the official hot dog provider for the two schools.
Thanks to name, image and likeness, athletes are now able to enter endorsement deals with university partners. An Oklahoma City-based brand, Daniels and Stoops entered season-long NIL agreements earlier this fall. It’s a smart move by Schwab, working with two of the most recognizable names in the Norman and Stillwater markets.
The work from the summer paid off, too. Daniels and Stoops produced a hilarious spot for Schwab.
In a yoga studio, the two are sitting right next to each other. The Oklahoma receiver is focusing on his chakras when Daniels asks him, “Yo, Drake, are you feeling this yoga stuff?”

Stoops responds: “Kendal, dude, I feel schwaberful.”
With a confused look on his face, Daniels asks how he’s so calm. Stoops delivers again, saying he has the “Schwab Swagger.” He offers his Oklahoma State rival a hot dog. At the end of the ad, Daniels and Stoops are hovering about their yoga mats – they both got their “Schwab Swagger.”
The son of former Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops has emerged as one of Dillon Gabriel’s top targets. Stoops has 36 catches for 318 yards and five touchdowns this season. The senior is averaging 8.8 yards per catch, too. He’s worked with the Oklahoma-driven NIL collectives Crimson and Cream and 1Oklahoma. Stoops promoted Affordable Door on his Instagram earlier this month. He holds a $90,000 On3 NIL Valuation.
After redshirting in 2021, Daniels earned Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year and Freshman All-American honors last year. The safety has thrived at Oklahoma State, tallying 57 total tackles with 2.5 tackles for loss this season. He also has a forced fumble with two recoveries.
Oklahoma visits Kansas on Saturday, while the Cowboys host Cinncinati. Slated for Nov. 4, a kickoff time has yet to be announced for Bedlam.
