Keon Coleman has emerged as one of the nation’s top receivers this season.

During his two seasons at Michigan State, he showed off his potential. But playing on the national stage and helping No. 4 Florida State start the year 7-0, there have been plenty of eyes on the wideout. He’s delivered with some jaw-dropping one-handed catches and impressive stat lines.

Now he has a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe Overland for a year thanks to an NIL deal with Tallahassee DCJ. The 2023 4xe Overland starts at $60,460.

The Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Fiat and Ram dealership has not been a major spender in the name, image and likeness space at Florida State. But working with one of the most well-known and marketable names on this year’s roster makes too much sense.

The full terms of the deal were not released. But according to Coleman’s rep Joe Hernandez of Just Win Management, it’s a 12-month contract that calls for marketing work with the car dealership throughout the next year.

“We’re grateful for the incredible team at Tallahassee Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and Fiat,” he told On3 in a statement. “We look forward to a highly successful partnership. Truly a win-win.”

The former four-star recruit emerged as Jordan Travis’ top target this season. He has 31 receptions for 472 yards and seven touchdowns, averaging 15.2 yards per catch. He arguably had his best game of the season at Clemson last month, catching two touchdowns, including the overtime game-winner. The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder finished with five catches for 86 yards against the Tigers. And against Syracuse this month, he had a one-handed catch that has since gone viral.

Coleman and the Seminoles travel to Wake Forest on Saturday.

Keon Coleman’s growing NIL brand

Along with his on-field success, Coleman has amassed an impressive social media following. The receiver has more than 135,000 followers, with 29K on TikTok and 93K on Instagram. He’s added over 16,000 followers on Instagram in less than 20 days, too. Having a large social media brand will only create more NIL opportunities.

He recently inked an NIL deal with the Florida State-driven NIL collective The Battle’s End. He’s also released apparel. Playing in Leon County, where Florida State is located, he dropped T-shirts and long-sleeve shirts featuring the phrase “Keon County” in garnet and gold. Coleman partnered with Raising Cane’s earlier this month, too.

The receiver inked a season-long contract with Hotel Indigo last month. The IHG boutique hotel in Tallahassee will be the “official hotel” of Keon Coleman for the remainder of the year.

Coleman has a $773,000 On3 NIL Valuation, sitting at No. 28 in the college football NIL rankings. His valuation is No. 28 in the On3 NIL 100, the first of its kind and defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by their On3 NIL Valuation.

The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college athletes. A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation calculates an athlete’s NIL value using dynamic data points targeting three primary categories: performance, influence and exposure.

About On3 NIL Valuation, Brand Value, Roster Value

While the algorithm includes deal data, it does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals athletes have completed to date, nor does it set an athlete’s NIL valuation for their entire career. The On3 NIL Valuation calculates the optimized NIL opportunity for athletes relative to the overall NIL market and projects out to as long as 12 months into the future.
