LSU's Livvy Dunne unveils signature drink flavor through NIL deal with Accelerator Active Energy

As she gets ready to return to the NCAA gymnastics championships, Livvy Dunne continues to cash in on the NIL front. The LSU standout now has a signature drink flavor as part of her longstanding partnership with Accelerator Active Energy.
On Tuesday, Accelerator announced “Livvy’s Cotton Candy” in partnership with Dunne. The launch will also include a personalized can and is available for purchase on Amazon and at Rouses Markets locations in Louisiana.
Dunne – who has a $4.1 million On3 NIL Valuation – signed an NIL deal with Accelerator in 2023. She’s one of the notable names on the company’s athlete roster along with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce and tennis star Paula Badosa, among others.
“Cotton candy is my all-time favorite treat and the team at Accelerator helped turn that into my very own delicious signature flavor. My sister and I have enjoyed eating cotton candy together since we were little,” Dunne said in a statement. “Accelerator is the best energy drink out there and it’s an essential part of my daily routine, whether working out, traveling or just during my everyday activities. Having my own signature flavor is a dream come true.
“I enjoyed the creative process of bringing this to life and I’m obsessed with the way the new flavor tastes. This is an exciting moment in my partnership with Accelerator.”
After Dunne signed an NIL deal with Accelerator, the company also built a partnership with the Livvy Fund to help facilitate deals with other athletes. Some of her LSU gymnastics teammates, such as Haleigh Bryant and Aleah Finnegan, are also promoting the signature drink.

“Livvy has been an ideal partner for Accelerator since we joined forces,” said Accelerator CEO Andrew Wilkinson in a statement. “We aim to partner with people who are passionate about our brand and incorporate Accelerator into their daily routine. She gave great feedback and ideas that ultimately led to the creation of her signature Cotton Candy flavor. It’s a flavor we’re very excited about, so I can’t wait to hear what our consumers think.”
Livvy Dunne continues to make impact in NIL space
Livvy Dunne is the highest-earning female athlete in the NIL era and has partnerships with notable brands such as SI Swimsuit, crocs and Vuori. She also secured a multi-million dollar agreement with Passes as part of her impressive portfolio. Dunne’s On3 NIL Valuation ranks No. 1 in the Women’s NIL 100 and No. 4 in the On3 NIL 100, the first of its kind and de facto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by their On3 NIL Valuation.
Dunne was also one of the objectors to speak at the House v. NCAA settlement after filing an objection in January. While speaking before Judge Claudia Wilken, she pointed out issues with the back damages portion of the agreement, including issues with the website and the figure’s calculations.
“The damages formula is unclear,” Dunne said. “… The link just kept looping. … We were told to trust the system, but the system did not communicate. Athletes like me still don’t know if their data submissions were considered.”
