Livvy Dunne continues to create one of the most ambitious NIL portfolios to date.

The LSU gymnast and social media influencer signed an NIL deal with Nautica on Friday, joining as the brand’s ambassador for women’s sportswear. She will also serve as the face of the company’s spring campaign.

The most followed college athlete on social media – she’s now at roughly 12.4 million followers – Dunne has parlayed the following into a major NIL brand which has only boosted her notoriety. With it, she’s become one of the most marketable athletes with brands lining up to work with her.

“We’re excited to welcome Livvy Dunne to the Nautica team,” Nautica senior vice president for marketing Stefani Fleurant said in a statement. “Livvy’s dedication to her craft and ability to inspire millions aligns perfectly with Nautica women’s sportswear – a line designed for women who are active, confident and embrace a lifestyle that seamlessly merges fashion with performance.”

Dunne is set to star in the upcoming docuseries The Money Game, which will provide an all-access pass to the 2023-24 athletic season inside LSU athletics. Set to be released on Prime Video, the documentary is being directed by Drea Cooper and produced by Campfire Studios, Axios Entertainment and Shaquille O’Neal’s Jersey Legends, a division of Authentic Studios

The gymnast is featured in the project along with All-American Angel Reese, SEC Women’s Basketball Freshman of the Year and Roc Nation-signed rapper Flau’jae Johnson and Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels.

“I am thrilled to be joining the Nautica family,” Dunne said. “It’s a brand that I have been a fan of since I was a child. Nautica perfectly aligns with my lifestyle because it values confidence, versatility and style.”

Livvy Dunne using NIL resources to benefit teammates

The gymnast and NIL star established “The Livvy Fund” in early July, partnering with the collective Bayou Traditions. As part of the initiative, On3 and Accelerator Energy Drink committed funds to support Tiger athletes with financial opportunities and business guidance. The energy drink company signed NIL deals with eight LSU gymnasts in October, too.

A first-of-its-kind move in the NIL space, the fund will place an emphasis on equitable access to deals and funds. The Livvy Fund will ensure Bayou Traditions provides opportunities to her peers, thanks to help from Dunne’s brand partners.

During her freshman season, Dunne earned All-America honors on the uneven bars, including a 9.90 score at the NCAA championships and a career-best 9.925 on the event. She appeared in four meets this past season, as the former USA National Team member dealt with various injuries.

Livvy Dunne’s massive NIL brand

Represented by WME Sports, Dunne has collaborated with American EagleAccelerator Active EnergyForever 21 and Motorola, among other brands. The gymnast entered an exclusive trading card deal with Leaf in August and appeared in a commercial for the ManningCast.

Dunne was a featured speaker at the inaugural On3 Elite NIL Series in June, too. She admitted on a podcast this summer that she had previously pocketed over $500,000 from a single NIL deal.

Livvy Dunne has a $3.5 million On3 NIL Valuation, only trailing USC guard Bronny James ($5.8 million) and Shedeur Sanders ($4.7 million). Her valuation ranks No. 3 in the On3 NIL 100, the first of its kind and defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by their On3 NIL Valuation.

The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college athletes. A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation calculates an athlete’s NIL value using dynamic data points targeting three primary categories: performance, influence and exposure.
