Dylan Raiola is preparing for his first rivalry game against Colorado, but the Nebraska quarterback is embracing his NIL brand.

The former five-star recruit has partnered with Campus Ink and The NIL Store to release new merchandise. Raiola is the son of former Nebraska and Detroit Lions offensive lineman Dominic Raiola.

Along with 14 years in the NFL, his father had a legendary career for Nebraska from 1998-2000, finishing as a consensus All-American and winning the Rimington Trophy for best center in college football. Plus, his uncle, Donovan Raiola, is the offensive line coach at Nebraska.

The partnership with Campus Ink allowed Dylan and the Raiola family to brainstorm ideas for the apparel. One T-shirt includes the quarterback and his father while another is a Hawaiian button-up shirt with a corn theme to match Nebraska.

In the latest drop, Raiola and the NIL Store partnered for a Shaka T-shirt drop. The apparel pays homage to his throwing style. The quarterback makes a shaka sign with his left hand every time he releases the ball.

Through the NIL partnership, Raiola will pocket between $6 to $15 on every item. The 6-foot-2.5, 230-pound quarterback was 19 of 27 for 238 yards and two touchdowns in a season-opening win over UTEP. He flipped his commitment from Georgia to Nebraska back in December.

“The kid made some darn good throws and pretty good plays,” Colorado coach Deion Sanders said ahead of this weekend’s game. “They did some consistent things that we knew they would do within their offense. … I love what he showed in his first college game ever. I loved what he showed.”

Dylan Raiola an impact QB with big NIL potential

The No. 21 prospect in the 2024 class has more than 138,000 social media followers. With his ties to Husker royalty, Dylan Raiola is poised for the NIL Era.

Already well-known by Nebraska fans, he holds an On3 NIL Valuation of $988,000. Additionally, don’t forget the Huskers have a solid collective – 1890 Nebraska.

Raiola’s valuation is No. 14 in college football and No. 24 in the On3 NIL 100, the first of its kind and the defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by their On3 NIL Valuation.

He signed an exclusive, multi-year deal with Panini America shortly after arriving in Lincoln. And he’s in the EA Sports College Football 25 video game.

“When you look at the addition of Dylan, he is without a doubt the biggest addition Nebraska has added in the NIL Era,” Sean Callahan with HuskerOnline previously said. “They have never had a player of this type of market value, as he checks off so many boxes playing the quarterback position, carrying a five-star ranking and being the son of a Husker legend. His presence alone now will have a driving impact on the NIL market at Nebraska.”

The On3 NIL Valuation is calculated by combining Roster Value and personal NIL. Roster value is the value an athlete has by being a member of his or her team at his or her school, which factors into the role of NIL collectives. NIL in an athlete’s name, image and likeness and the value it could bring to regional and national brands outside of the scope of NIL collectives.
