LOOK: UNC center Armando Bacot announces NIL partnership with Bad Boy Mowers
Armando Bacot made a dream run in the NCAA Tournament with North Carolina before falling short in the national championship game. He quickly decided to come back for another season and attempt to recreate the same magic but end the season by lifting a trophy.
With his return to Chapel Hill, Bacot has had the opportunity to strike some NIL deals. He announced his latest on Friday afternoon, with the Tar Heels center working with Bad Boy Mowers. Bacot announced the partnership via Twitter, posting a graphic of him in a Bad Boy Mowers basketball uniform and two thumbs up.
“I’m pumped to be teaming up with Bad Boy Mowers, the brand that changed the zero-turn lawnmower game forever,” Bacot said. “We’re doing big things together this year.”

The only thing scarier than facing Armando Bacot on the basketball court is facing an Armando Bacot with a three-point jumper.

As the North Carolina star works on his game during the offseason, Bacot is looking to add some skill to his long-distance game. Check out the Tar Heels big man knocking down shots like he’s Steph Curry here, posted to Instagram by NBA skills coach Matt Irving.
This past season was Bacot’s third at North Carolina, but it was by far his best yet. As a freshman in 2019-2020, he averaged 9.6 points and 8.3 rebounds. He then had 12.3 points and 7.8 boards in the 2020-2021 season, but upped his totals to 16.3 points and 13.1 rebounds this past season. Bacot turned into a key part of North Carolina’s run to the national title game in the NCAA Tournament.
Armando Bacot already took his game to a new level during the 2022 NCAA Tournament, but he could be even more valuable if he adds a consistent three-point shot to his repertoire. The ceiling is the roof for the star big man next season.
