South Carolina's Nyck Harbor inks NIL deal with Currex Insoles
Nyck Harbor continues to shine in the NIL space.
The South Carolina freshman and former five-star in the 2023 recruiting class inked an NIL agreement with Currex Insoles. A year-long partnership, the deal will play up his football and track talents.
As part of the agreement, Currex will work closely with Harbor to shoot marketing material with the brand. A portion will focus on how he uses the insoles throughout football, whether it’s in practices or games.
While he was the top athlete in the 2023 football recruiting cycle, he is also an Olympic hopeful. Last August, he ran a 10.22-second 100-meter time and a 20.95-second 200-meter time. He recorded a 6.70-second 60-meter time in February. The NIL deal will also focus on how Currex can make a difference on the track.
“I’m incredibly excited to be working with Currex to highlight the significance of proper insoles in achieving the best results in track and football,” Harbor said in a statement. “The right support can make a world of difference, and I believe this partnership will open eyes to the transformative power of innovative insoles.”
Park Ave Sports facilitated the partnership. Managed by Everett Sports Marketing (ESM), the Gamecock-focused sports marketing agency is funded through small-dollar membership fees from the Carolina Rise collective.
ESM has emerged as a go-to agency for some of the top college NIL stars, including Brock Bowers and Haley Cavinder. Park Ave has benefited from the agency, delivering multiple deals to Gamecock athletes, including a recent partnership between Pit Viper Sunglasses and four South Carolina football players.
“This partnership between Currex and Nyckoles Harbor is truly one-of-a-kind because it seamlessly incorporates two sports into one partnership,” Park Ave agent Natalie Fedel said. “We created this partnership to showcase the unique needs of a dual sport athlete but also highlight the benefits of using specialized insoles tailored to different sports.”
Nyck Harbor’s rising On3 NIL Valuation
The 6-foot-5, 225-pound receiver recently inked contracts with Beats by Dre and has signed on as an ambassador for the fragrance brand Ovation for Men Sport. Harbor also worked with multiple suit companies throughout his senior prom season, which outfitted him in exchange for a social media endorsement.

Nyck Harbor holds a $397,000 On3 NIL Valuation, which ranks in the top 150 of On3’s high school football NIL rankings. He’s found NIL success early in his college career thanks to more than 91,000 social media followers.
The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college athletes. A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation calculates an athlete’s NIL value using dynamic data points targeting three primary categories: performance, influence and exposure.
About On3 NIL Valuation, Brand Value, Roster Value
While the algorithm includes deal data, it does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals athletes have completed to date, nor does it set an athlete’s NIL valuation for their entire career. The On3 NIL Valuation calculates the optimized NIL opportunity for athletes relative to the overall NIL market and projects out to as long as 12 months into the future.
