On3 NIL Valuation: High school cornerbacks averages
On3 is tracking the top 15 cornerbacks according to the On3 Industry Ranking, breaking down the average cornerback On3 NIL Valuation.
The On3 NIL Valuation is calculated by combining Roster Value and NIL. Roster value is the value an athlete has by being a member of his or her team at his or her school, which factors into the role of NIL collectives.
Here is the breakdown:
CBs 1-5: Average $384K
The top 2025 cornerbacks in the On3 Industry Ranking include Devin Sanchez (Ohio State commit), DJ Pickett, Na’eem Offord (Ohio State commit), Dorian Brew and Dijon Lee. All five-star prospects ranked in the top-30 of the cycle, their average On3 NIL Valuation sits at $384,000.
While not as valuable as a quarterback, offensive tackle or EDGE, the top cornerbacks in this year’s transfer portal commanded over $500,000. Ohio State has two of the top recruits at the position in the 2025 cycle in Sanchez and Offord. The Buckeyes are also in the mix to land Brew, who took visits to LSU, Oregon, Texas, Ohio State and USC this spring.
Pickett is the No. 2 cornerback and the No. 6 overall player in his class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. His recruitment is viewed as a battle between LSU and Miami at this point. Georgia and Oregon are also in the mix.
CBs 6-10: Average $160K
Despite being ranked outside the top five cornerbacks in the 2025 class, Jaboree Antoine, Adonyss Currie (Texas A&M commit), Blake Woodby, Chuck McDonald (Alabama commit) and Ben Hanks all sit in the top-100 which speaks to the talent and depth at the position. The cornerbacks ranked No. 6 to No. 10 in the On3 Industry have an average On3 NIL Valuation of $160,000.
Antoine is the No. 2 recruit coming out of the state of Louisiana and is currently predicted to land at LSU, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. He took official visits to Florida State and Miami this spring.
A top performer at the OT7 Championships in June, Currie has been locked in with Texas A&M since May. On3’s National Scout Cody Bellaire noted that “Currie’s foot speed and hip fluidity allow him to mirror would-be pass catchers with ease. He also has the top-end speed to run vertically with virtually anyone who lines up across from him.”

CBs 11-15: Average $131K
Four of the five cornerbacks that rank No. 11 to 15 in the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking are committed. All five are four-star recruits and rank in the top-200 of the cycle. Mark Zackery (Notre Dame commit), Shamari Earls (South Carolina commit), Graceson Littleton (Clemson commit), Micah Strickland and Daryus Dixson (Penn State commit) have a combined average On3 NIL Valuation of $131,000.
Strickland is the only recruit in the group who has yet to announce a commitment. The No. 25 recruit in the state of Texas, the 6-foot-0.5, 185-pound cornerback visited Baylor in April before taking trips to Texas Tech, Houston and TCU in June. He’s yet to announce a decision date.
Zackery committed to the Fighting Irish in May, picking Notre Dame over Cincinnati, Florida and Michigan.
During his junior season at Thomas Dale (Virginia), Earls had 29 catches for 715 yards and eight touchdowns. He also had 172 yards and a touchdown in the return game and posted 25 tackles, three interceptions and four pass breakups.
