Overtime, NFL announce OT7 to be broadcast on NFL Network

The reach of Overtime’s seven-on-seven program, OT7, is reaching new heights.
Through a new partnership with the NFL, Overtime’s high school football league will now be distributed on NFL Network and NFL+. According to a release, games will be broadcast on the NFL Network and NFL+ for two hours on Saturdays and Sundays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET. Outside of those hours, OT7 games will be streamed on Overtime SZN YouTube. The only day games won’t streamed is Saturday, April 27 because of the NFL Draft.
“OT7 is where you’ll find the future players of the NFL,” Overtime football general manager Hunter Mandel said. “The competition is elite for the players who participate, some becoming five-star prospects overnight, and for the fans who watch it.”
Top high school recruits set to play in this year’s edition of OT7 include five-star quarterbacks Bryce Underwood and George MacIntyre and five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore. The OT7 regular schedule is as follows:
- Regular Season
- Week 1: April 6 – 7 (Dallas)
- Week 2: April 13 – 14 (Dallas)
- Week 3: April 27 – 28 (Orlando)
- Week 4: May 4 – 5 (Orlando)
- Championship
- June 6 – 9 (Tampa)
In addition to signing the NFL as its media distributor, Overtime’s list of brand sponsors includes adidas, Army National Guard, Gatorade, Snickers and Subway. Sixteen teams have opted-in to participate in this year’s edition of OT7.

Partnering with the NFL to show OT7 games on the NFL Network will only help grow athletes’ brands. Athletes can start to garner even more name recognition and build a social media following before they reach the college ranks, which is crucial to working with major companies in the NIL space.
Current NFL players who have participated in Overtime’s seven-on-seven league include Jamarr Chase, Jaylen Waddle, Trevor Lawrence and Derrick Henry.
