Penn State transfer QB Beau Pribula signs seven-figure deal with Missouri
Penn State transfer quarterback Beau Pribula signed with Missouri on Sunday night. After backing up Drew Allar, Pribula fills a hole for the Tigers with Brady Cook set to graduate after this season.
Sources tell On3 that the quarterback’s NIL package with the Tigers will pay him $1.5 million in 2025, on par with starting SEC quarterbacks. Missouri edged out Iowa, UCF and Ole Miss to land the quarterback. Pribula has an On3 NIL Valuation of $1.3 million.
A year ago, the top quarterbacks landed one-year financial agreements ranging between $750,000 to $2 million, led by Cam Ward and Riley Leonard. Those numbers have continued on the uptick in this cycle. Sources tell On3 that Jackson Arnold’s deal with Auburn is in the same range as Pribula’s.
The Penn State transfer will see immediate playing time with Missouri. The Tigers are set to lose Cook, who is 25−13 as a starter and helped them win a Cotton Bowl in 2023. Backup Drew Pyne still has two years of eligibility remaining, but he’s struggled throwing for three touchdowns and three interceptions in six games this season.

Pribula played in 24 career games during his time with Penn State, mainly backing up Allar. The redshirt sophomore will have two years of eligibility remaining. He’s thrown for 424 career yards with nine touchdowns and just one interception. Penn State relied on Pribula for his legs, too, rushing for 571 yards and 10 touchdowns in his career with the Nittany Lions. Top-100 2025 quarterback Matt Zollers is set to join the quarterback room.
With Allar sidelined due to injury in the second half against Wisconsin this season, Pribula guided Penn State to a 28-13 win. He was 11 of 13 for 98 yards in the game, throwing for a touchdown. Beau Pribula’s Big Ten experience had him as one of the most sought-after quarterbacks in the portal for quarterback-needy teams.
