Pitt safety Brandon Hill has NIL deal with Pirates to spread positivity
Pitt Panthers safety Brandon Hill is taking his Random Acts of Kindness journey to the ballpark thanks to NIL.
Hill announced Tuesday he’s agreed to a NIL deal with the Pittsburgh Pirates. As part of the partnership, the safety spent the day giving away tickets for Tuesday night’s game against the St. Louis Cardinals at PNC Park. Hill will also throw out the first pitch at the ballgame that starts at 6:35 p.m ET.
Hill has spent the past few weeks spreading positive thoughts and doing random acts of kindness on the streets of Pittsburgh. At one of his recent stops, he spent the day passing out Post-it Notes full of positive messages. The deal with the Pirates was facilitated by Jaster Athletes.
“It’s an amazing feeling to be supported by this city and be able to return the favor by giving back,” Hill told On3. “Partnering with the Pirates is really cool for me. I had no idea that when I started this Random Acts of Kindness journey this is what it would turn into.”
Brandon Hill’s partnership with Pirates a ‘dream come true’
Jordon Rooney of Jaster Athletes said this is the perfect deal for Hill and for the Pirates.
“Brandon is extremely personable,” Rooney told On3. “We wanted to create a concept that would show off his personality and allow brands to see how they could work with him. His random acts of kindness campaign have been a huge hit.
