Texas QB Quinn Ewers to host first NIL event for fans and boosters
Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers announced Wednesday that he’s hosting his first NIL event, titled “An Evening with Quinn Ewers,” for fans and boosters on July 22. Ewers tweeted that every attendee will receive a signed jersey.
The two-and-a-half-hour event will start at 6 p.m. at Golfinity in Austin, Texas. A general admission ticket also provides fans with drink tickets, hors d’oeuvres and a photo opportunity with Ewers. Children are welcome. A promotion for the event says corporate sponsorships are available.
Adult tickets are available for $283.84 while children’s tickets cost $37.89. VIP group tickets are available for four attendees and cost $2,312.21. Fans who can’t attend can purchase an autographed jersey, which they’ll receive in the mail for $209.92.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Merging Vets and Players, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation founded by FOX Sports NFL Insider Jay Glazer and former U.S. Army Green Beret and former NFL and Texas long snapper Nate Boyer.
The nonprofit’s website says, “By merging vets and players, we create an environment where these warriors can share each other’s strength and experience, and can support each other in building fulfilling lives of service and strength.”
Merging Vets and Players’ website says the organization has served more than 2,000 combat veterans and more than 1,000 former professional athletes.
