Reese’s announces ‘tastiest deal in NIL history’ with 12 players
What might be the sweetest deal in NIL history has arrived.
Reese’s announced Thursday it has agreed to NIL deals with 12 football players across the country with the last name of “Reese.” As part of the deal, the players will receive Reese’s chocolate and peanut butter footballs and cups for the season, along with “drip-worthy gear for simply having the best last name in the game.”
The gear includes a Reese’s Reese Chain, an ambassadors only gold chain and a pendant. Players involved in the deal will also receive a custom-tailored blaze orange Team Reese travel blazer, a pair of custom “cup-links” and a mini fridge shaped like a locker to “keep Reese’s footballs at the perfect temperature.”
The Team Reese line-up includes:
- Delaware State defensive back Andrew Reese
- Tulsa defensive lineman Brody Reese
- Troy defensive end Cameron Reese
- UNLV running back Courtney Reese
- Florida linebacker David Reese
- Tennessee State defensive back James Reese IV
- Auburn safety John Reese Bellew
- Ole Miss safety Otis Reese
- Eastern Michigan tight end Max Reese
- Duke defensive end Michael Reese
- Liberty safety Quinton Reese
- Baylor running back Richard Reese
“This is one of the coolest opportunities,” Reese Bellew told On3. “I find it an honor to be representing Reese’s. As I told them, I was born for this. It’s all in the name.”
Max Reese was also excited to be a part of the deal.
“It’s truly a dream come true definitely a partnership that I have dreamt about for numerous years especially having the last name that I do,” he said. “Glad to be a part of Team Reese’s!”

Not only does the deal include players with a great last name, but it also includes one of the top freshmen in college football — Baylor’s Richard Reese. The true freshman from Bellville, Texas, has already rushed for 400 yards and seven touchdowns for the Bears.
In return for the sweet treats, student-athletes on Team Reese will be sharing on social media what it “means to be part of the best team in college football.”
Also, expect the players to be featured on Reese’s University website. The website is built to look like a real school, including links to the “athletic” and “admissions” departments. There are even examples of what student life looks like at RU.
