Tennessee receiver Jalin Hyatt inks NIL deal with Hyatt
Jalin Hyatt burst onto the college football scene with his five-touchdown performance against Alabama.
The Tennessee receiver is still reaping the benefits. Hyatt has inked an NIL agreement with Hyatt Hotels, an endorsement contract destined to be signed ever since the third Saturday in October. As part of the agreement, sources indicated to On3, he is gifting his teammates with a generous hotel credit, similar to their stay at the Orange Bowl in Miami.
It’s an unprecedented move in the NIL space. While more and more brands have been joining marketplaces and executing deals, the hospitality business has been slow to jump into the mix. The hospitality company now has a partnership with a notable name in college sports and with one who can continue to promote up the brand’s identity.
“This Hyatt-Hyatt collaboration is more than a natural fit and it brings us all together when it really matters,” Jalin Hyatt said in a statement to On3. “The World of Hyatt team gave me the ability to create a deal that benefited my teammates and our families. That’s real, as those are the people I care about the most. Knowing my teammates’ families will all have help to be at the game, and that they are being cared for on the road is amazing.”
Jalin Hyatt has not had trouble finding NIL success following the Alabama game, though. The Tennessee receiver signed with The Volunteer Club, which is run through Spyre Sports Group, shortly after his performance against the Tide. Through the agreement with the NIL collective, the receiver earned all new memberships he drove in across the first month. In exchange, Hyatt sent fans a free, signed picture of himself.
He’s also promoted Keller Williams Sports and Entertainment group on his social media channels and has a T-shirt deal with Breaking T. And ahead of Tennessee’s rivalry game with Vanderbilt, he inked an agreement with Bose.
While he has yet to announce if he will return to Knoxville for another season. But he enters bowl season with 67 catches for 1,267 yards and 15 touchdowns. He’s also up for the Biletnikoff Award next to Marvin Harrison Jr. and Xavier Hutchinson.

Jalin Hyatt’s On3 NIL Valuation
The receiver’s social media following has taken off this season. He currently has 101,000 Instagram followers. Entering the game against the Tide, he had roughly 15,700.
His On3 NIL Valuation has continued to jump, too. Hyatt’s evaluation now sits at $818,000 — a 229% growth over the last 10 weeks. And he sits at No. 36 in the NIL 100, which is the first of its kind and defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by their On3 NIL Valuation. He also ranks 20th among college football players.
The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college athletes. A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation calculates an athlete’s NIL value using dynamic data points targeting three primary categories: performance, influence and exposure.
While the algorithm includes deal data, it does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals athletes have completed to date, nor does it set an athlete’s NIL valuation for their entire career.
The On3 NIL Valuation calculates the optimized NIL opportunity for athletes relative to the overall NIL market and projects out to as long as 12 months into the future.
