Wrangler is entering the NIL space with a major statement.

The denim brand has unveiled an apparel collection with Texas athletes, launching the company’s 75th anniversary. To kickoff college football season, the company has partnered with the Longhorns and 30 other schools in the rollout of officially licensed, co-branded apparel.

The apparel line is not only for current student-athletes at Texas, either. The collection includes partnerships with quarterback Quinn Ewers, linebacker DeMarvion Overshown, swimmer Caspar Corbeau, softball players Lauren Burke and Mary Iakopo, former baseball player Trey Faltine, and volleyball players Madisen SkinnerMolly Phillips and Asjia O’Neal.

Brand management, marking and licensing agency The Brandr Group and Colosseum Athletic helped broker the deal and create the collection. Overall, 31 schools will launch customized Wrangler gear over the next month. Those institutions include Alabama, AuburnFlorida, Florida StateLSU, Michigan State, NebraskaOklahoma, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

Ewers is the main headliner of the release — he can be seen in promotional material rocking a denim collared-shirt with Longhorns etched on the left shoulder sleeve. The former five-star recruit and Ohio State transfer, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian named Ewers the starting quarterback last week. He also holds an On3 NIL Valuation of $1.5 million.

He has not had trouble finding NIL deals, either. Ewers enrolled in college a year early to land a deal with GT Sports Marketing worth $1.4 million because the state of Texas does not allow high school players to be compensated off NIL.

“My first pair of jeans were Wranglers and I’ve been wearing them ever since,” Ewers said in a press release. “I’m excited for the opportunity to be an ambassador for Wrangler’s Collegiate Collection – I think fans are going to love these products.”

These collections will be available on Wrangler.com and in major retailers including Dick’s Sporting Goods, Academy Sports + Outdoors, Fanatics and Kohl’s, along with participating university bookstores.
