For the first week this season, there is not a new name in the top 10 college football NIL valuations.

While there was not any major changes, multiple players added some value to their evaluations. And with five top-25 matchups coming this weekend, the top 10 could see a shakeup come next week.

On3 is breaking down the top 10 On3 NIL Valuations entering Week 5 of the college football season. This season marks the second year athletes are able to profit off their NIL and their marketability can increase because of their accomplishments on the field.

Let’s dive in.

1. Bryce Young

On300 Ranking: No. 2
On3 NIL Valuation: $3.3 million
Movement: +$8,300
Position: Quarterback

Bryce Young was overtaken this week by C.J. Stroud for the the top-quarterback ranking of the On3 Impact 300, but he still holds the highest On3 NIL Valuation in college football. Through four games this season, Young has thrown 13 touchdown passes and just two interceptions. He bolstered his stats against Vanderbilt, throwing for four scores and 385 yards. But it’s no secret the Alabama offense just is not as explosive as it was a year ago. The wide receiver core is not what it was with Jameson Williams and John Metchie. And Young is doing everything he can do to defend his Heisman. And on the NIL front, the Alabama quarterback continues to add to his social media following, which now sits at 281k with a $8,700 per post value.

2. C.J. Stroud

On300 Ranking: No. 1
On3 NIL Valuation: $2.6 million
Movement: +$8,700
Position: Quarterback

C.J. Stroud has barely had Jaxon Smith-Njigba available this season, but that’s not slowing down the Ohio State quarterback down a bit. The Buckeyes star has has thrown for 16 touchdowns, including five this past weekend in the season opener against Wisconsin. The Big Ten record was set by Dwayne Haskins in 2018, when he threw 50. Stroud nearly touched that number with 44 last season. With eight games remaining on the schedule, the quarterback is on track to finish the season within reach of the record. A few standout games on the season could put him over the top. That may be enough to wrap up the Heisman and boost his NFL draft stock.

3. Caleb Williams

On300 Ranking: No. 7
On3 NIL Valuation: $2.1 million
Movement: -$319,000
Position: Quarterback

USC kept its College Football Playoff dreams alive, squeezing out a tight win at Oregon State. Caleb Williams struggled, finishing the game 16 of 36 for just 188 yards. But he made a big-time play when the Trojans needed an answer. He put the ball just where Jordan Addison could get it, delivering it before an Oregon State safety could knock it down for a 21-yard, go-ahead score. Williams was not perfect Saturday night in Corvallis. But in a place that has haunted USC in the last decade, he found a way to escape with a win. Enough to keep USC and the Pac-12 in the thick of playoff talk.

4. Jordan Addison

On300 Ranking: No. 3
On3 NIL Valuation: $1.7 million
Movement: +$5,900
Position: Wide Receiver

The USC offense was far from what it had been in the three previous games entering Saturday at Oregon State. But Jordan Addison reminded everyone why he was the top receiver available in the Transfer Portal this offseason. His 21-yard go-ahead touchdown made the difference against the Beavers. He now has six touchdown this season, averaging 16 yards per catch. With a 5-foot-11, 161-pound frame, Addison has emerged as a real threat to win the Biletnikoff Award for the second consecutive season. His six touchdown catches sits tied for fourth in the nation.

5. Will Anderson

On300 Ranking: No. 5
On3 NIL Valuation: $1.6 million
Movement: +$286,000
Position: EDGE

Since he recorded his first career touchdown earlier this season, Will Anderson has been on a role. The Alabama EDGE was all over the field this past weekend against Vanderbilt. He finished with five tackles against the Commodores, finished with a team-high 2.5 sacks, upping his season total to 4.5. He was causing problems all day for the Vanderbilt offense, racking up three total tackles for loss. Anderson was named to a player of the week by the Alabama coaching staff. The Crimson Tide face a 3-1 Arkansas offense this weekend that is averaging 33.5 points and 243.8 rushing yards per game.

6. Bijan Robinson

On300 Ranking: No. 8
On3 NIL Valuation: $1.6 million
Movement: +$4,800
Position: Running Back

Texas lost its Big 12 opener over the weekend, falling to Texas Tech in Lubbock for the first time since 2008. It was the first loss to Bijan Robinson pieced together another strong performance, though. The running back rushed for 101 yards on 16 carries against the Red Raiders, adding two touchdowns. Robinson also had his first fumble of the season. He told media members Monday he has “Been walking around with a football in both hands everywhere I go.”

7. Shedeur Sanders

On300 Ranking: N/A
On3 NIL Valuation: $1.2 million
Movement: +$8,100
Position: Quarterback

The son of Deion Sanders pieced together another eye-catching performance over the weekend, leading Jackson State to a win over Mississippi Valley State. Shedeur Sanders was 40 of 51 for 425 yards and four touchdowns. With a 75.5% completion percentage this season, he has one of the best state lines of all college football quarterbacks this season. So well to the point that Deion Sanders said in his Monday press conference that Shedeur needs to be considered in the Heisman race. The quarterback is closing in on 1 million social media followers — he’s currently sitting at 991,000.

8. Brock Bowers

On300 Ranking: No. 6
On3 NIL Valuation: $1.1 million
Movement: +$7,500
Position: Tight End

Brock Bowers may just be the top player in college football. Ranked as the No. 6 overall athlete in the On3 Impact 300, he continues to build his case. In Saturday’s win over Kent State, Bowers finished with five catches for 60 yards. But for the second straight week, he’s playing a major role in the running game. On just two carries, he ran for two touchdowns, including one on 75 yards. He’s continuing to be an appealing name in NIL deals, too. His Twitter following saw a 4.8% jump to 55,000 followers. The Georgia offense is thriving thanks to Bowers.

9. Stetson Bennett

On300 Ranking: No. 35
On3 NIL Valuation: $1.1 million
Movement: +$15,300
Position: Quarterback

Stetson Bennett continues to make the necessary plays to keep Georgia as the nation’s top-ranked team. Through four games, he’s thrown only five touchdowns and an interception. But he’s completed 92 passes, moving the ball down the field. Bennett has also emerged as a running threat, scoring a touchdown on the ground in each game this season. Leading the Bulldogs back to an SEC championship has him on track to contend for the Heisman.

10. Peter Skoronski

On300 Ranking: No. 4
On3 NIL Valuation: $1.1 million
Movement: +$77
Position: Offensive Lineman

Speaking to the media this week, James Franklin was candid about Penn State‘s matchup with Northwestern: The Nittany Lions are excited to go up against offensive tackle Peter Skoronski. That’s not something you hear every week in college football. But Skoronski commands that respect around the Big Ten. He continues to show each week why he’s the top offensive lineman at the college level. And it’s why he has one of On3’s highest NIL evaluations.

About the On3 NIL Valuation

The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college athletes. A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation calculates an athlete’s NIL value using dynamic data points targeting three primary categories:

+ Performance
+ Influence
+ Exposure

While the algorithm includes deal data, it does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals athletes have completed to date, nor does it set an athlete’s NIL valuation for their entire career. The On3 NIL Valuation calculates the optimized NIL opportunity for athletes relative to the overall NIL market and projects out to as long as 12 months into the future.
