Trey'Dez Green latest LSU star to sign NIL deal with Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys
LSU five-star tight end signee Trey’Dez Green continues to expand his NIL brand.
The Jackson (Louisiana) Zachary native and football and basketball standout announced a new NIL deal on Tuesday with Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys.
This is Trey’Dez Green’s second NIL brand agreement. He previously inked a deal with Ovation for Men, a fragrance company based out of Atlanta. Green was able to do the first deal while in high school because the Louisiana High School Athletic Association approved high school athletes’ ability to profit off their publicity rights.
“I’m the newest member of the G-Team,” Green said in a social media post announcing the NIL agreement. “I’m looking forward to a great partnership and getting it done on both the field and the court.”
Gordon McKernan has become one of the most active figures in NIL. While he hasn’t generated as much national attention as other boosters, McKernan and his firm have struck significant deals with top student-athletes at all of the top college programs in Louisiana. He’s also a big supporter of LSU athletes, signing deals with numerous Tigers football, basketball and gymnastic stars.

McKernan told On3 in 2023 that he spent well into the seven figures in endorsement deals in the 2022 calendar year. He also previously told Sports Illustrated the price tag for elite players is often at least $100,000.
On3 ranked Trey’Dez Green as 5-star recruit
Trey’Dez Green was elevated in January to a five-star ranking in the final Class of 2024 recruiting rankings. He also finished as the No. 32 prospect overall in the On3 300. Green signed with the Tigers over a long list of national offers, including Alabama, Miami, Tennessee and Texas A&M.
On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power is a big fan of Green’s game.
“High flying tight end prospect who plays above the rim on the football field as well as the basketball court,” Power said. “Highly rated basketball player who has serious bounce on the hardwood. Fifty-fifty balls are closer to 70-30 for him with his ability to high point the football. Has rare body control and balance for someone his age with his size. Will have some growing pains as a blocker, but his ability to move and go up and get the football with his size is rare for the position. Arguably the top pass-catching mismatch in the 2024 cycle.”
Brands are also fans of him, too. “Trey’Dez is a special individual,” Ovation co-founder Shawn Crenshaw previously said. “Not only is he outstanding on the football field and basketball court, but he is even more accomplished as a person and role model in his community. Not many players possess the character, charisma and star power like Trey’dez. He is going to be a star.”
