UCF's John Rhys Plumlee to donate jersey sale proceeds to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children

John Rhys Plumlee is using his platform to give back.
The UCF quarterback announced Monday on X he is donating all proceeds from his jersey sales this season to the Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.
Currently on sale at Fanatics for $139, this is not the first time Plumlee has given back to the hospital. The two-way athlete spent time with some kids this past June at Ryan Seacrest Studios, taping a podcast.
“Donating 100% of my proceeds from my jersey sales to the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children,” John Rhys Plumlee wrote on X.
Now UCF fans will be able to assist the quarterback in giving back to Orlando youth. A 158-bed pediatric hospital part of the Orlando Health network, it is supported by the Arnold Palmer Medical Center Foundation. The Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies combine to form the Arnold Palmer Medical Center. The hospital has previously been ranked as one of the nation’s top children’s hospitals.

Thanks to name, image and likeness, college athletes are finally able to profit from jersey sales. Fanatics launched an online college football store in September 2022, selling jerseys for more than 4,300 players across the country. OneTeam Partners, which is facilitating group licensing for EA Sports College Football, also assisted with the deal.
One of the top returning quarterbacks in college football with his dual-threat capabilities, Plumlee led UCF to a 9-5 record in his first year as the starter. The former four-star recruit also led all quarterbacks nation in rushing in the regular season, racking up 861 yards and 11 touchdowns. He’s also a center fielder for the Knights’ baseball team, playing in 58 games this spring, batting .286.
He’s also emerged as an NIL star with more than 166,000 social media followers. John Rhys Plumlee has worked with brands like Pepsi, Icy Hot and Dove for Men.
