USC QB Miller Moss releases 'Miller Time' NIL apparel
USC quarterback Miller Moss is embracing his nickname.
The redshirt junior has significantly boosted his NFL draft stock in the opening two weeks of the season. He was 27 of 36 for 378 yards and a touchdown in a Week 1 win over LSU in Las Vegas. Now Moss has released NIL merchandise centered around his nickname: “Miller Time.” The phrase comes from the popular Miller Lite trademark “Miller Time,” which has been featured in commercials and pop culture.
The nickname first circulated when he threw six touchdowns for 372 yards in a blowout win over Louisville in the Holiday Bowl last season. Partnering with Campus Ink’s NIL Store, the USC quarterback has dropped T-shirts and sweatshirts with the slogan and a picture of himself.
Exclusively only on The NIL Store, the company doesn’t have a licensing agreement with the school. That didn’t stop Moss and the brand from creatively executing the deal. Through the NIL partnership, he will pocket between $6 to $15 on every item. Pricing for apparel starts at $39.99.
“It’s cool,” Moss said of the nickname after the Holiday Bowl win. “We could get a little bit more creative, but it’s cool.”
The Trojans sit at No. 11 in the AP Top 25 entering Week 3. In two weeks, the quarterback has thrown for 607 yards and two touchdowns. He has taken only two sacks, and USC looks like a legitimate College Football Playoff contender with a revamped defense. Moss has even entered the Heisman Trophy conversation.
USC is on a bye in Week 3 before playing at Michigan on Sept. 21 in the school’s first Big Ten game.

Miller Moss’ On3 NIL Valuation
A former four-star recruit, Moss sat behind No. 1 draft pick Caleb Williams for the last two seasons. Now in the spotlight, the USC quarterback is starting to build out an NIL brand.
Miller Moss has more than 33,000 social media followers and an On3 NIL Valuation of $1.2 million. The valuation is No. 16 in college football and No. 22 in the On3 NIL 100, the first of its kind and defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by their On3 NIL Valuation.
The quarterback recently inked a brand deal with JLab and has worked with the USC-driven NIL collective House of Victory.
The On3 NIL Valuation is calculated by combining Roster Value and personal NIL. Roster value is the value an athlete has by being a member of his or her team at his or her school, which factors into the role of NIL collectives. NIL in an athlete’s name, image and likeness and the value it could bring to regional and national brands outside of the scope of NIL collectives.
