Basepath partners with Athletiverse for NIL content, branding
Basepath has emerged in the last 22 months as a leading NIL software company, working with more than 40 NIL collectives.
The company has now entered a partnership with Athletiverse, a creative agency that focuses on white-labeled content, social media and social growth strategies for brands and athletes. Through the strategic agreement, Basepath clients will have access to Athletiverse’s one-on-one project consulting and creative content services.
Through the partnership, Basepath collectives will be able to use the service provider to create brand campaigns and activation strategies.
“Basepath is thrilled to partner with Athletiverse,” Basepath CEO Thomas Thomas Jr. said in a release. “This collaboration enhances our collective’s capabilities and offers a holistic solution to navigate the ever-changing NIL landscape. With Athletiverse’s expertise in content creation and social engagement, we are confident that our collectives will thrive in this dynamic environment.”
While Basepath has a long client list of NIL collectives, the company also works with agents, athletic departments and athletes. The platform assists parties in managing NIL deals from both sides of the agreement, in-app messaging, marketing analytics and complaince.

Athletiverse will be able to cater to collectives but Basepath athletes will also be able to work with the content creator. Basepath partnered with SquadLocker in June, integrating Mailchimp, DocuSign, Stripe and Twilio.
“At Athletiverse, our mission is to seamlessly merge ROI and captivating content for our clients,” Athletiverse founder Dominyck Bullard said. “In partnership with Basepath, we are dedicated to providing a comprehensive solution that empowers NIL entities and institutions to excel in the NIL landscape while enhancing their appeal to both existing and prospective student-athletes.”
Basepath building out athlete network
According to Basepath, over 2,500 athletes are using the software to manage NIL deals. Some are onboarded by their collective, others are using the platform on their own.
The partnership with Athletiverse means the athletes will now be able to work with the company to create content for social media and future NIL deals.
