Marshall expected to hire Missouri analyst, former LSU staffer Derek Shay
Marshall is expected to hire Missouri analyst and former LSU staffer Derek Shay as its new tight ends coach, sources tell On3.
Shay, who worked at LSU as a graduate assistant under Ed Orgeron, was the Tigers’ de facto tight ends coach in 2020 and ’21.
Prior to LSU, Shay was tight ends coach at McNeese State and the offensive line coach at high school powerhouse IMG Academy.
Marshall is entering its third season with Charles Huff as its head coach. The Thundering Herd finished last season 9-4.
