On3 Elite announces Guardian Sports as sponsor for On3 Elite Series
On3 Elite is excited to announce a partnership with Guardian Sports for the second annual On3 Elite Series.
The family-owned company brings a decade of engineering experience and a true passion for athlete protection and equipment innovation. Founded by Erin and Lee Hanson in 2011, Guardian Sports is dedicated to advancing technologies that enhance sports equipment to better serve athletes’ needs.
“At Guardian Sports, our mission is to protect athletes by continually developing technologies that bridge the gap between current sports products and what athletes truly deserve,” said Erin Hanson, co-founder of Guardian Sports. “Our Guardian Cap, now mandated by the NFL and used by over 300,000 youth to pro athletes nationwide, is a testament to our commitment to player safety and innovation.”
Guardian Caps, a soft-shell helmet cover designed to reduce the impact of daily hits, have become a cornerstone of athlete protection, particularly in football where it is mandated by the NFL and CFL and worn by the majority of NCAA power conference programs. Guardian Sports’ dedication to advancing athlete safety has led to other innovative products.
As the only manufacturer of lacrosse balls in the USA, Guardian created the PEARL lacrosse ball, the only greaseless game ball, and was named the official ball of the NCAA Championships. Guardian also has Guardian Infill, a bio-based, sustainable infill that keeps fields cooler, and the Guardian | Xenith LOOP, a Virginia Tech 5-STAR-rated, multi-sport, soft-shell headgear.
