Crowe Jr. talks schools involved
In a recent interview with On3’s Jamie Shaw, Jason Crowe Jr. discussed several of the schools pursuing him.
TEXAS: “We’re growing our relationship day-by-day. They talk with me at least every other day. So they’re trying to build a legit bond with me, and that is what I like about them. They like how I attack. They like scoring guards who play at a fast pace and feel like I fit well with what they do.”
KENTUCKY: “My relationship is real good with them. Coach (Mark) Pope texted me before USA to just be myself, and to play my game. That helped. They shoot a lot of threes, and obviously I’m a shooter. They play run-and-gun and that’s how I like to play.”
USC: “I just recently went to their practice. I saw that they play fast-paced, and that is how I like to play. The practice I went to, they didn’t really didn’t get into much, but what I liked about it is that it was high-paced the whole time.”

BAYLOR: “My relationship with them is growing slowly but surely. My friend, Elijah Williams, is going there and he talks about them a lot to me. He wants me to come in with him.”
UCLA: “The assistant coach trusts me the most. But I also talk with Coach Mick Cronin, and he just tells me, if I’m going to be there, I’m going to be there. So that is his recruiting pitch, and that’s pretty funny to me.”
ARKANSAS: “Things are good with them. Coach (John) Calipari and Coach Chin (Coleman) are good guys. He’s put a lot of dudes in the league. They have good guards there already, so it’s looking like it could be a good fit.”
WASHINGTON: “Coach (Quincy) Pondexter just went back up there from USC. He had been recruiting me hard over there, so we got a real good relationship.”
