Farleigh Dickinson Transfer Ansley Almonor to Visit Kentucky
Ansley Almonor, a 6-foot-7 transfer forward from Farleigh Dickinson, told KSR+ that he will be visiting Kentucky on Tuesday. He had a Zoom meeting with the UK coaching staff on Saturday.
Almonor averaged 16.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game while starting 31 of 32 games for Farleigh Dickinson in 2023-24. He shot 43.6 percent from the field and 39.4 percent from three-point range. He totaled 93 threes last season (2.9 per game) and has 180 in his three-year career.
Almonor played three seasons at Farleigh Dickinson, earning two-time All-NEC honors. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
Kentucky’s Incoming 2024-25 Roster
Kentucky Basketball currently has 10 scholarship players in the fold for the 2024-25 season. There are a number of players the staff is pursuing to fill the final three scholarship positions. We can now add Ansley Almonor to the mix.
Kentucky is recruiting three players — Jaxson Robinson, Wooga Poplar, and Chaz Lanier — who are going through the NBA Draft process. Poplar and Lanier recently participated in the NBA G League Elite Camp.
Robinson has already earned a spot in the NBA Combine. The NBA Draft Combine runs from May 12 to 19. Below is the full list of committed players for 2024-25:
