Kentucky Reaches Out to Texas Tech Transfer Pop Isaacs
The transfer efforts continue for Kentucky’s new staff, led by head coach Mark Pope. Kentucky has contacted Texas Tech transfer Pop Isaacs, a source tells KSR+.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound point guard averaged 15.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.1 blocks per game, starting in all 34 games for the Red Raiders. He shot 34.9 percent from the field and 29.3 percent from three-point range.
Isaacs averaged 11.5 points, 2.7 assists, and 1.0 steals during the 2022-23 season, earning Big 12 All-Freshman honors. He also led Tech with 62 3-pointers made at a 37.8% clip.
