Villanova Transfer TJ Bamba Includes Kentucky in Top 6
Villanova transfer guard TJ Bamba is down to six schools: Kentucky, Louisville, Stanford, Florida, Memphis, and Oregon, he tells KSR+. Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports and Sam Kaysar of League Ready were the first to report the news.
The 6-foot-5, 215-pound combo guard told KSR+ on Thursday evening that Kentucky had made contact. He tells KSR+ that he has not set a visit yet.
Bamba spent his first three college seasons at Washington State before transferring to Villanova ahead of the 2023-24 season. Bamba averaged 10.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game in 33 games during the 2023-24 season. He started in all 33 games for the Wildcats.
