Photo Gallery: Alabama holds final tuneup before first scrimmage
The Alabama football team returned to the field on Friday for another camp practice. The Crimson Tide worked in helmets and shorts for two hours on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields in its final tuneup before its first preseason scrimmages on Saturday, Aug. 10.
It marked the Crimson Tide’s eighth workout of the fall, one of 20 total practices leading up to the first game week of the season. Alabama will kick off its 2024 schedule on Saturday, Aug. 31, when it hosts Western Kentucky at Bryant-Denny Stadium (6 p.m. CT on ESPN).
