Photo Gallery: Alabama holds first scrimmage of 2024 preseason
The Alabama football team held its first preseason scrimmage on Saturday morning inside Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The Crimson Tide worked in full pads for roughly two hours (102 plays) in its first of two closed scrimmages during preseason camp.
It marked the Crimson Tide’s ninth workout of the fall, one of 20 total practices leading up to the first game week of the season. Alabama will kick off its 2024 schedule on Saturday, Aug. 31, when it hosts Western Kentucky at Bryant-Denny Stadium (6 p.m. CT on ESPN).
