Alabama held its second and final scrimmage of preseason camp on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium, where it spent two hours and ran 94 plays. While there were fewer plays than the first scrimmage, Kalen DeBoer said the game-like practice was more intense.

“I thought it was a very physical scrimmage,” DeBoer told reporters. “Probably – not even probably. It was definitely the most physical scrimmage we’ve had since we’ve been here.”

The Crimson Tide is now 15 practices into fall camp and is off for two days before its final week of preseason preparation before the first game week of the 2024 season. On Alabama’s off day, BamaOnLine staff members Charlie Potter, Blake Byler and Jimmy Stein review the scrimmage and look ahead to the final week before Alabama football is finally back.
