While gearing up for a crucial home game against Florida State, the Clemson Tigers are also welcoming a flurry of prospects on campus.

The biggest name who is visiting the school today is none other than Arch Manning. Manning, the top-ranked junior on On3, is Clemson’s No. 1 overall target in the 2023 class.

Clemson Sports is currently on the field at Memorial Stadium, and we have photos of Manning’s arrival. This trip officially marks the second time the Louisiana-based recruit has made his way to Clemson this year; the other being for a camp in June.

Accompanying Manning is his father, Cooper, and his mother, Ellen. The three of them have been spotted chopping it up with head coach Dabo Swinney and several assistants.

Along with talking to the coaches, Manning was welcomed with an applause by some fans that were in the stadium. One fan even had a sign that read, “We Want Arch.”

This trip will be an important one as Manning’s head coach, Nelson Stewart, told us that it will likely be his last visit of the fall. He’s already checked out Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Texas this season.

We recently had an opportunity to catch up with Manning ahead of his visit to Clemson. Manning opened up about a variety of topics, including what interests him the most about the Tigers.

“Really, the people,” Manning said. “Also, it’s a really good education. Just the culture there is unmatched, I feel like. There’s really good people and just a good place to be for four years.”

It’s not yet known if we will be able to follow up with Manning after this visit as he typically does not conduct over-the-phone interviews. He did, however, speak with us recently about how his time at the school in the summer went.

“I loved it,” Manning said of his June trip. “The people there are great. Everyone is super nice. I had a really good time. I camped at the camp. That was awesome getting up-close coaching from Dabo and Coach [Brandon] Streeter. It was just a really good experience.”
