Clemson’s 2022 recruiting class has been signed for months. Now the jersey numbers that Tigers freshmen will wear have been decided as well.

Clemson updated its roster to include all jersey numbers Wednesday night.

Of note, freshman receiver Antonio Williams will become the first Clemson player ever on offense to sport No. 0. Linebacker Barrett Carter currently wears 0 on defense.

There are 34 true freshmen listed on Clemson’s roster, including walk-ons. Of those, 20 are scholarship players.

Clemson’s recruiting class ended up ranked No. 14 in the nation and No. 3 in the ACC for 2022, according to the On3 consensus rankings. It is led by five-star quarterback Cade Klubnik and includes nine four-star prospects.

Also of note, quarterback Hunter Johnson, who is transferring back in from Northwestern, will wear No. 12 after previously wearing No. 15 for the Tigers.
