Game day injury updates on Clemson guards for FSU
There is good news and bad news for Clemson in terms of injuries as the Tigers prepare to play Florida State later Saturday.
First, the bad news. Clemson will once again be without guard Alex Hemenway, who has been out since mid December with a foot injury, Clemson Sports has learned.
The Tigers will also be down fellow senior guard Brevin Galloway, who is dealing with an “abdominal injury.” Galloway had a non-basketball issue on Thursday after putting up 14 points against Georgia Tech on Tuesday.
As for the good news, there’s a real chance that starting point guard Chase Hunter could play against the Seminoles, we were told.

Hunter has missed the past three games with a foot injury, but the plan is for him to go through shoot around this morning, and if he feels good, to play.
Hunter is averaging 14 points per game, which is third on the team behind Hunter Tyson and PJ Hall. Galloway is averaging 10.6, with Hemenway at 9.8.
If Chase Hunter is able to play, he good start along his brother Dillon Hunter, who started Tuesday’s game against Georgia Tech and played well.
