Clemson basketball star forward PJ Hall suffered a knee injury last week, Clemson Sports has confirmed.

Hall was going through defensive drills when the injury occurred, we were told. It is believed that Hall’s knee cap popped out of place. Hall originally dealt with the injury in high school.

The injury is likely to require surgery, according to a source. If so, it appears as though Hall will be out approximately 3.5 to 4 months. A final decision on surgery is expected to be made later this week.

If Hall does indeed miss four months, that would put him back some time in late November.

The Dorman product dealt with a foot injury throughout last season, which eventually required surgery.

Despite battling the injury for most of the season, Hall still led Clemson with an average of 15.5 points per game.

Hall was also Clemson’s second-leading rebounder and led the Tigers in blocks in 2021-22.
