Clemson starting linebacker Barrett Carter is expected to miss Saturday’s game against Syracuse, Clemson Sports has confirmed.

Carter was banged up last week against Florida State but played through it.

The SAM/Nickel linebacker has started all seven games on the season. He is third on the team in tackles with 33, including 4 tackles for loss.

Clemson is likely to move its linebackers around with Keith Maguire and LaVonta Bentley getting more opportunities against the Orange.
