Clemson OL target Sullivan Absher has top 3, sets commitment date

CLEMSON — One of Clemson’s top targets in the class of 2023 in offensive lineman Sullivan Absher is close to announcing his decision.
Absher revealed Friday night that he will commit on Friday, May 13 at 4 p.m. He will hold a ceremony at South Point High School in Belmont, North Carolina to announce his choice.
The 6-6, 275 pound prospect is down to a final three of Notre Dame, Clemson and NC State.
Absher visited Clemson twice this spring and spoke highly of the Tigers at the time.
However, Notre Dame is given the best chance to land the four-star prospect, according to the Recruiting Prediction Machine.
Absher recently visited Notre Dame for its spring game and has spoken highly of the Fighting Irish and first-year head coach Marcus Freeman, as well.
If Clemson can pull the upset and land Absher, it would be a huge pick up for Dabo Swinney, Thomas Austin and the Tigers.
