Early enrollees arriving on campus
The dust is still settling from Clemson’s season.
The Tigers lost their offensive and defensive coordinator, and they just had to pull of a quick turnaround with the hiring of Nick Eason as defensive tackles coach.
But next year is coming and with it early arrivals. Clemson early enrollees started the move in process to campus Sunday. Quarterback Cade Klubnik, wide receiver Adam Randall, offensive lineman Collin Sadler, kicker Robert Gunn, safety Sherrod Covil and punter Jackson Smith were also seen pictured on campus.
The strategy of enrolling early has worked in the past for the Tigers. All six players are will be involved in spring practice and are expected to compete for roles entering next season.
Clemson CB Andrew Booth Jr. declares for NFL Draft
One of Clemson’s top defenders from this past season has declared for the NFL draft.
Tigers cornerback Andrew Booth Jr. announced Sunday night on social media that he is moving on from Clemson’s program.
Booth is projected to be a first-round pick after a sensational junior season. The Georgia native had a team-high 3 interceptions, adding 4 pass breakups and 3 tackles for loss in 2021.
Clemson signee Cade Klubnik highlights in All-American Bowl
Going up against some of the best players in the nation, Cade Klubnik was as sensational as he has ever been.
The future Clemson Tigers signal-caller got off to a hot start in Saturday’s All-American Bowl, passing for 102 yards on 4-of-5 attempts in the first half. He also had a couple of touchdowns in the first quarter, finishing with three touchdowns on the day.
This incredible performance was recognized on national television during the fourth quarter. During a break, Klubnik was named the All-American Bowl Player of the Year.

Clemson Sports was on hand for Klubnik’s final game at the high school level.
Thoughts on Clemson QBs after Cade Klubnik stars in All-American Bowl
There was already plenty of speculation five-star quarterback Cade Klubnik would be able to come in and compete for Clemson’s starting quarterback job immediately.
That chatter is only going to ramp up after Klubnik’s performance in Saturday’s All-American Bowl.
The Texas native was outstanding in the West’s 34-14 victory, completing 12-of-18 passes for 205 yards and three touchdowns.

Clemson bounces back, earns tough win at NC State
Brad Brownell said following Clemson’s loss to Virginia earlier this week that he felt like the Tigers played well, despite coming up short in the end.
Clemson continued its strong play Saturday at NC State, and this time the Tigers came out on top.
Clemson earned a 70-65 win at NC State on Saturday to improve to 5-1 in its past six games. The victory was also Clemson’s second straight ACC road win and improved the Tigers to 10-5 (2-2) on the year.
