Kirby Smart doesn’t miss on coordinator hires often. We could only think of one major rough spot, and that was back in 2019.

Will Georgia have to sweat out anything next season?
Georgia’s 2023 football schedule doesn’t appear to be too daunting right now.
Shouldn’t it get tougher between now and next season? Of course!
But we’re of the opinion that Georgia will be better by then, too.
And that’s even with the slightest bit of uncertainty under center next season.

A lot of twitchy Georgia fans were quick to judge that hire as a miss for Kirby Smart.
But a player who had the opportunity to bolt for the NFL still decided one more season under Searels’s guidance could make him even better.
What about Georgia football’s quarterbacks in 2023?
I already documented the fact that two Vegas sportsbooks hedged each other’s prediction for which Georgia football player will start at quarterback.
Carson Beck has a shot. So does Brock Vandagriff. Gunner Stockton can also shock the world here.
The point is, it’s all on the table in 2023.
So what do we know about Georgia’s quarterback handling from years past?
The Dawgs will not sleep until the right guy is in the spot there.
