One of the busiest months on the football recruiting calendar anymore is June. That is no different for Kansas State, as they will welcome in about 40 different official visitors and many are important targets atop their recruiting board.

While the Wildcats are done at the most important position on the field thanks to K-State assistant Matt Wells securing quarterback commit Dillon Duff, they entered June with a lot of work remaining on the recruiting to-do list. Duff was just one of three commits total.

However, it has since already grew to four thanks to Derby High cornerback Martel Jackson. After a strong camp performance that earned him an offer from Kansas State, he quickly scheduled an official visit and gave the Wildcats his verbal pledge.

Jackson may not be the only prospect that fits that profile.

The first weekend in June did not include any new targets. The three prospects that made the trip to the K-State campus were pursued for longer by the Wildcats and grabbed their Kansas State offer beforehand. Who was on campus, what were the takeaways and did they make a move?

A much bigger recruiting event was the second weekend in June. Three camps had already unfolded in Manhattan, it helped them land a fourth commit and there were 11 official visitors in total. Do we expect any others from that weekend to commit to Kansas State?

The biggest weekend yet could be the upcoming one. We’ve already uncovered nearly a double-digit number of visitors for June 14. We’re told it could be much more than the nine targets that have been identified, even though Ryver Peppers likely won’t make it to Manhattan after committing to Iowa State.

Also, when will top target and five-star tight end Linkon Cure be on campus?
