The 2026 quarterback dominoes are beginning to fall. And one of the early top names on the Oregon board has made his first cut.

Narbonne (Calif.) quarterback Jaden O’Neal announced his top ten on Wednesday. The list of schools includes: Oregon, Oklahoma, ASU, Colorado, Miami, Penn State, Auburn, FSU, Ohio State and Washington made the first cut.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pounder is the No. 78 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings for 2026. O’Neal checks in as the No. 6 quarterback in the country and No. 11 ranked player in the state of California.

Currently Oklahoma has an overwhelming lead in the On3 RPM.

Oregon does not have a quarterback committed in the 2026 class. O’Neal had emerged as one of the early top targets for the Ducks.

He tells On3’s Chad Simmons a decision could likely come by the end of Summer.

“I have to have some big talks with my family and see how we are feeling. We took some great visits, we have established some real relationships and I am still working to make my decision.

“It will come down to development and relationships when I choose my school. Those are two big things. Then it is about the people in the building. I look at the locker room, how genuine the people are at the school and who is authentic. All those things are important.”
