We’re getting closer and closer to one of the very key months in recruiting. June is going to be a wild month in the recruiting world with many of the top recruits in the country locking in official visits.

The early list for Oregon is coming together nicely and it would appear you can add another five-star to the mix.

On3’s Steve Wiltfong reports five-star offensive tackle Josh Petty will take an official visit to Oregon in June. He will be in Eugene on June 14, according to Wiltfong. The 6-foot-4, 265-pounder is the No. 18 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings. Petty is the No. 4 ranked offensive tackle in the 2025 class.

Petty will also take official visits to Clemson on May 31, Auburn on June 7 and Stanford on June 20.

Currently Clemson is the favorite according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. Auburn is slightly behind at 19.5%.

“Committing is hard,” Petty told On3 in January. “I’ve heard that from everybody. A lot of people tell me to go with my heart and that wherever feels like home probably is home. I’ve got that feeling about a couple schools, so I just have to figure out which one feels the most like home.”

Georgia, Texas and Florida State are a few other programs in the mix for the five-star from Georgia.
